I'm a passionate photographer, eternal romantic, big city and bright lights kinda gal, an unschooling mama, a curvy fashion lover, a believer in good, a glasses wearing hygge (pro-nounced hue-guh) loving homebody, an ice cream aficionado, a curious and determined growth edge seeker, an ally, a wannabe interior designer, inspired by connection, fuelled by friendships, laid-back nouveaux-summer-enthusiast, loyal wife, mother, daughter and sister, oh and I can't forget dog and plant mama.
I am many things and so are you. I take a lot of photos to try to tell some of that beautiful, messy, mixed up and magical story because your people want to know it all!

"Alicia is simply the best. We had hired her to come to our house when my daughter was first born for a newborn photo shoot. As a new mom, newborn photo shoots can be daunting. Having to put yourself together, your kids together and a smile on your face in those early days can be a challenge to say the least. From the moment Alicia arrived she put my mind at ease. Her calm demeanour, professional attitude and warmth shined through from the moment I opened the door. Alicia made sure everyone was comfortable and most importantly made it clear there was no rush. Newborns (and toddlers!) get cranky, need to be fed etc so I was so worried we would be rushed through the process. Certainly not the case with Alicia. She took the time to get to know our family, set up perfect shots and was patient and never once did I feel hurried to get a shot. The photos she took are so natural and completely captures our family in a single frame. Those early days can be such a blur and I feel so lucky that Alicia came to capture those beautiful moments that I can now remember forever." - Katie

Laughter feeds love. That was the slogan I started with years ago and it still rings true. A smile will go a long way in life. I have the tattoo to prove it!
If you're not having fun doing it, then it might be time to change it!
I always seek fun, I want to smile, I want to cry happy tears, I want to laugh until my belly hurts because really...is there any better feeling?!?
